Hilary Duff is quarantining due to a possible COVID-19 exposure.
The Younger star went on Instagram Story on Saturday (November 21) to share a selfie captioned, “Exposed to covid Quarantine day 2 Fml.”
In October, she and husband Matthew Koma announced that they were expecting their second child together – they’re already parents to 2-year-old Banks; Hilary is also mom to 8-year-old Lucas, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Hilary’s been pretty outspoken staying safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I obviously want things to go back to normal, but I’m not going to fight it,” she told E! back in July. “It’s actually become the norm — ‘here’s what we are doing,’ you know, ‘we’re still in this’ — and it’s not as much of a panic like, ‘I can’t do it anymore.’ Like, we’re in this for a while, and I think some days are better than others. It’s hard to complain because we have a pool, and a backyard…and we have everything we need. We have food. But everyone’s life has changed, so it’s definitely still challenging at times.”
She also went on Instagram to call out those who weren’t taking precautions amid the pandemic.
“We took two walks today. Took a family nap. Took a drive. Drove by a raging house party on Mulholland,” she wrote on Instagram. “A–holes. No masks (of course). Girls in bathing suits and louboutins waiting to get in like a line at a club. After @matthewkoma and I told Banks she’s too cool to ever need to do that we were steaming … California is in bad shape (in so many ways) but doesn’t everyone think we all want to go out freely and travel and enjoy summer.”
Last week, she was snapped on set with co-star Sutton Foster filming the seventh season of Younger. However, it’s still unclear when or where Hilary was possibly exposed to the virus.
Unfortunately, no one can control who we come into contact with in a public space. The best thing one can do after being possibly exposed to the virus is to self-quarantine and get tested in an effort to keep those near and dear safe.
With Hilary quarantining, it appears she’s found a way to pass the time – she’s keeping herself occupied with some reading.
