Jennifer Lawrence’s family suffered a big loss over the weekend.

The Oscar-winning actress is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, where her family owns a farm and runs Camp Hi-Ho – a summer camp for kids between the ages of 4 and 12 which which has been running on the Lawrence family farm for several years.

While they lost the barn to the “horrible fire,” thankfully, no one was hurt.

Camp Hi-Ho’s official Facebook page announced the sad news on Twitter. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm the news that we lost our barn last night in a horrible fire,” the statement read. “We are deeply thankful that no people or animals were hurt, but we are still mourning the loss of years of hard work and memories that occurred in these walls.”

“Words cannot describe the pain we are in, but we are so incredibly grateful for the Simpsonville Fire Department and all the other firefighters who responded to our emergency. You are true heroes. We are also so grateful for the countless members of our community who have reached out to support us during this time. Your love and kindness mean the world to us,” the statement continued.

“We know Camp Hi-Ho is a special place to so many, and we plan to rebuild and repair so that we can move forward with a safe and joyful camp experience this summer. ❤️,” the statement concluded.

According to TMZ, J.Law’s brother Blaine has also sent out an email to parents of campers who had attended the camp to inform them of the situation.

Per local station, WDRB, according to the Simpsonville Fire Department, who responded to the fire, it took 25 firefighters from three fire departments over an hour to get the fire under control. The outlet also reported that there was an unnamed female in the barn at the time of the fire, who was able to escape “without injury,” and “some small pets” were removed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
