Kanye West and Irina Shayk’s rumored romance has been heating up the headlines this past week, after photos of the two vacationing in Provence, France surfaced. And reports have also been coming out that they’ve allegedly been seeing each other on the DL for months now – per TMZ, they supposedly reconnected sometime in March or April.
Kanye’s soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce from the rapper in February, is reportedly not bothered at all that Ye is moving on.
“Kim has heard the rumors about Kanye and Irina Shayk and she doesn’t mind at all,” a source told E! News. “If it doesn’t impact her kids, then she doesn’t mind if Kanye dates.”
But how does Irina’s ex, Bradley Cooper, feel about her rumored new romance?
Bradley and Irina were together for four years before splitting in 2019. They share a daughter together – four-year-old Lea. It looks like the two are on pretty friendly terms as they co-parent their little girl since their split.
As for her dating someone new, a source tells Us Weekly “Bradley would be fully supportive of whoever Irina chooses to date — he just wants her to be happy.”
“Bradley and Irina are not just on good terms as coparents, they’re also close as friends and share personal things with each other,” the source continues.
Back in February, another source previously told the outlet that Bradley and Irina are at that point where they’re better off as friends.
“They are on healthy terms and are very respectful of one another, making the coparenting process much more seamless and smooth. At this point in time, they are better off as friends,” the source said at the tme. “Bradley’s focus is and has been his daughter and his mom, [Gloria Campano], whom he adores. They will always be his No. 1s. Irina’s focus, of course, is her daughter and then any modeling work she has going on.”
As for Ye and Irina, they’ve actually known each other for years – she was in his music video for “Power” was back in 2010. He also namedropped her in his song “Christian Dior Denim Flow” that same year. A couple of years later, she walked the runway for the Yeezy fashion show.
Dating speculations began swirling around Ye and Irina last month, after gossip site DeuxMoi got an anonymous tip about their maybe-romance. However, their recent trip to France is the first time that the two have been spotted out in public.
Sources say they’re pretty much just enjoying each other’s company ATM. Per an Entertainment Tonight source, Ye and Irina have “casually been seeing each other.” And another source also tells E! News, “Kanye has expressed he doesn’t want anything serious but likes Irina’s vibe.”
“Irina and Kanye have been spending time together and getting to know one another,” yet another source tells Us. “He’s always thought she was beautiful and they’re both looking forward to seeing where this goes.”
