How Stars Are Giving Back This Holiday Season

These stars are getting out into their communities and doing good for others, celebrating the holiday season by giving back.
Travis Scott
Travis Scott went back to his roots to spread some cheer for the holiday. His foundation, Cactus Jack Foundation, teamed up with the city of Houston and Mayor Sylvester Turner to host a Holiday Toy Drive in his old neighborhood – they gave away presents for the children, provided each attending family with free meals, produce, Christmas trees, comforters, shoes and personal protective gear to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Katy Perry
Partnering with Amazon and Amazon Music, Katy surprised the kids at Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Houston, St. Louis and Chico, California with art supplies for all the kids – Katy picked them out herself – plus holiday gifts and extra items for each Club she virtually visited.

Dan + Shay
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney helped three homeless families get fresh starts. The country duo teamed up with , a shelter-to-housing program in Nashville, to provide starter homes for the family. They also collaborated with Ashley HomeStore to provide furnishings – including holiday decorations – for each home.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry
The couple, together with their three children, hosted their Eat. Learn. Play. foundation’s 8th annual Christmas with the Currys in Oakland on Dec. 19. The drive-through event was all about helping 1,000 needy children get food, holiday gifts and other resources, plus a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus! The Currys also donated thousands of books to schools in the area.

The two actresses were among the famous faces handing out holiday gifts to families in need at Baby2Baby’s drive-through event in Los Angeles on December 13.

Nick Cannon
The Masked Singer host teamed up with HollyGold and restaurant Yamashiro Hollywood to donate 2,000 meals to the community in Los Angeles on December 15.

James Van Der Beek
The actor partnered up with the grocery store HEB and the Pop-Up Birthday organization to surprise one family with Christmas decorations, gifts, and groceries.

Prince Michael Jackson
Through his Heal L.A. Foundation, Michael Jackson’s eldest child made Christmas extra special for 25 Los Angeles-area kids – they each got a $150 shopping spree at Mattel on December 21. He also spent Thanksgiving giving out meals to those in need.
