It’s been three years since The Vampire Diaries wrapped, but fans have been keeping the love alive.

One fan appears to have just finished binge-watching TVD – and it appears the finale legit got her uber emotional.

The fans’ mom went on Twitter to share a video of her teenaged daughter hysterically crying after presumably watching *spoiler alert* Paul Wesley’s character, Stefan Salvatore’s, finale death scene.

“My teenager seriously has a problem…lol #VampireDiaries,” she captioned the clip, tagging Paul.

The clip has since gone viral, and even Paul himself took notice. “This is too good!” he replied. “Give her a hug from me and make sure she knows I am alive and well.”

Ian Somerhalder, who played Paul’s onscreen brother, Damon, also responded to the tweet, writing, “I felt the same way kiddo! But then I realized oh wait, I just saw him yesterday… He’s still alive;) XO Damon.”

Paul again chimed in on the thread. “You cried then as well but for the opposite reason,” he replied to Ian’s tweet.

Oh, the feels.

Be honest: How many times have you watched the entire run of TVD since it ended?
