Iggy Azalea is finally giving fans a glimpse of her son, Onyx.
Back in June, the “Fancy” rapper went on Instagram Stories to announce: “I have a son.”
“I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world,” she continued.
The star also shared that she wants to “keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret.”
“I love him beyond words,” Iggy added.
In July, she revealed her son’s name: Onyx.
While Iggy has never mentioned the identity of her son’s father, fans speculate the baby daddy is fellow rapper Playboi Carti, with whom Iggy’s been romantically linked with. The two have reportedly been dating on and off since 2018, and even sparked engagement rumors in July 2019 when she was spotted sporting a diamond ring on The X Change Rate.
However, in her Instagram Story on Friday (October 23), it appears as though Iggy has recently closed a chapter in her life.
“You lost a real 1!!!!” Iggy posted, later adding, “People take loyalty for granted & That’s why I’d rather be alone.”
On Saturday (October 24), she returned to the platform and appeared to confirm the split – and give fans their first glimpse of her seven-month old baby boy.
“What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship,” Iggy wrote.
