Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have reportedly ended their union.

News broke on Monday (July 17) that the 30-year-old Wicked star and the 27-year-old luxury real estate agent have reportedly gone their separate ways after two years of marriage.

The pair exchanged vows back in 2021, after being first romantically linked in 2020.

A source revealed to outlets that Ariana and Dalton broke up earlier this year, but that they then tried to reconcile. Unfortunately, that seems to have not worked out, and now the two are “headed for divorce.”

Another source stated:

“Things had been going really well for Ariana and Dalton since they got married. But unfortunately, they hit a rough patch a few months ago and haven’t been able to recover.”

Yet another source said:

“Ariana and Dalton have been having some issues for months now. They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming that they couldn’t resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven’t been speaking and are separated, and a divorce is likely.”

Ariana has been in London for months filming the Wicked movies.

One insider said that scheduling issues contributed to the split:

“Ariana and Dalton’s friends have always been concerned by their whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived. Their relationship has been rocky at different points, and they’ve had trouble making time for each other with scheduling issues.”

As for who made the decision to end things, an insider had this to say:

“They came to the decision together [to divorce]. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.

They’ve been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them.”

And an insider revealed that since they separated, Ariana and Dalton “have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship.”

Just this past weekend, fans grew concerned when Ariana was photographed at Wimbledon sans wedding ring.
