It looks like Kimye isn’t over just yet — in fact, far from it.
In a recent public appearance, Kanye West seemingly hinted on wanting to reunite with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
On Wednesday, the 44-year-old rapper made a surprise appearance at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving event, where he made a speech about “coming home” and doing “everything to be right next to the situation.” His words alluded to being called by God to make things right with Kim.
Here’s what he said:
“The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships. We’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publically done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I’m here to change the narrative.
I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I’m out the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation…I’m trying to express this in the most sane way, the most calm way possible, but I need to be back home.”
His words definitely got people speculating. But two days later, on Friday, Kanye seemed to help make his message and intentions a bit more clear.
He shared a headline on his Instagram Story – a TMZ headline that read:
“Kanye West Says God Will Bring Kim And Him Back Together, Inspire Millions.”
And here’s the kicker: He tagged Kim in his post!
Kanye’s actions come amidst Kim’s blossoming romance with Pete Davidson. She has not yet responded.
