It’s been two years since Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett sparked engagement rumors – which the couple never officially confirmed, btw – and the speculations have now gone up to marriage level.
Speculations began swirling around the couple last week, when the WandaVision actress called Robbie her “husband” while chatting with Kaley Cuoco for Variety’s Actors On Actors.
Here’s how that conversation went:
While Elizabeth was explaining why she was filming the interview from her bathroom – “I’ve been in the U.K. for seven months, and I got back two days ago, and my neighbor is doing so much construction to their backyard. I can still hear it and I’m in the furthest bathroom.” – she looked around her makeshift set and was surprised by a sweet little detail that Robbie put in the makeshift set for the virtual chat.
“I also just noticed that my husband put Little Miss Magic,” she told Kaley, asking, “You know, the ‘Little Miss’ books?”
“They’re these classic books but ‘magic’ because of WandaVision because he’s such a f—— cutie,” she added.
While Elizabeth’s reps are yet to respond to requests for comment about the “husband” thing, the couple was spotted out in New York City earlier this week where they were snapped wearing what appears to be matching gold bands on THAT finger – yes, both of them!
Elizabeth and Robbie have been together for the longest time – but are notoriously private when it comes to their personal lives. Apparently, she got some expert advice on that front from her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who are uber private about their personal lives as well.
“They’d say, ‘You know, even if you don’t think anyone’s going to read this article, someone might pull the quote later,'” she told Modern Luxury in a 2017 interview.
They have reportedly been dating for a year-and-a-half before making their relationship red carpet official in September 2017 – which has pretty much been the only official confirmation they’ve given about their relationship. As for the engagement reports that came out on August 2019 and the recent marriage speculations, the couple and their reps are yet to give the official word.
