Jacob Bertrand and Peyton List are making their relationship official.
The two confirmed their romance on Tuesday (March 22) to TMZ at the Los Angeles International Airport following many months of dating rumors.
Jacob, 22, revealed:
“We’ve been dating for a while. I’ve never dated anyone I’ve worked with before. This iOS almost trial by fire.”
He went on to share that he and Peyton had actually known each other for many years prior to starring together on Cobra Kai:
“We’ve been friends for a while. I met her when I was like, 15. I was actually tight friends with her brother Spencer, so that was kinda awkward to be like, ‘Hey man, I like your sister.’
But yeah, we had fun on set and then hung out off-set.”
Jacob and Peyton, 23, have been co-starring on the hit Netflix show since its second season.
Peyton also confirmed their relationship in a separate interview with TMZ.
She was asked if it was a difficult decision to enter into a relationship with a person she works with, the actress jokingly replied:
“I guess so, yeah. And then think about the consequences later!”
