James Maslow has been making fans swoon from day one – and he’s only gotten better with time.

The Big Time Rush heartthrob is all grown up and making waves in the entertainment biz with his solo career. He’s slaying it in the music scene – dropping his debut album How I Like It in 2017. He also busted out his acting chops onscreen in Lifetime’s Room For Murder and feature films 48 Hours To Live, Bachelor Lions and It Happened On Valentines. Yep, this 2017 Macy’s iHeart Radio Rising Star Awardee is definitely killing it on screen and on air.

Now, James is getting ready to usher in a new era of music. He just dropped the lyric video for his new single “Love U Sober,” a euphoric dance track about his life and past relationships and differentiating between love and lust. Check it out below:

The talented recording artist, songwriter and actor just graced the cover of Bella Magazine – and he’s dishing about the inspiration behind his new song.

“A large portion of the music I’m going to put out is influenced by my past relationships. ‘Love U Sober’ acknowledges the fact that I was in a relationship with someone and we had so much fun, but after many months, I began to question it,” James told Bella . “The sad part was the connection wasn’t as real as I thought; it was masked by the emotion of partying. Saying I want to love you sober might be more literal than people realize.”

Not only that, we’ll be hearing more from this sweetheart, too! In another interview, James revealed that his new track is only the beginning!

“‘Love U Sober’ is the beginning of a bunch of music I’m putting out, non-stop, all with music videos, art direction, lyrics that are just so personal to me because I’m creating it all,” James told KTLA.

And, since too much James is never enough, he’ll also be lighting up screens in his upcoming projects  – World War II action film Wolf Hound, comedy My Boyfriend’s Meds, as well as co-starring with Lucy Hale, Ashleigh Murray, and Sterling Knight in the Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene, and co-hosting The Big Stage with Elizabeth Stanton.

So exciting!
