Jana Kramer and Ian Schinelli first began dating back in December 2021. They broke up merely months later – and now, Ian is speaking out about his ex. And he’s got A LOT to say.
Jana was married to Mike Caussin prior to her relationship with Ian. The two settled their divorce in April 2021.
She had claimed that he was unfaithful to her, stating:
“I have since found out from many women I was not the only one during our relationship.
The reason I haven’t said anything further on this breakup was because Ian lied about cheating on his ex-wife and I was trying to protect her. She has become a friend of mine and I was trying to protect her privacy, but she has now given me permission to speak on her behalf. Ian is angry because all of his lies have been figured out and is now twisting the story.
I’m happily moving on with my life and I hope for him to do the same.”
But Ian is disputing that:
“I went all in with Jana. Opened up. [I was] vulnerable. Gave her everything in my life and my past. I apologized to my ex-wife and owned my mistakes.
Now all of a sudden, now that I walked away from her — for her extremely toxic behavior — she is using all of the secrets and information I expressed with her, against me.”
Ian also said that Jana set boundaries when it came to him talking to other women:
“[She’d be like], ‘Hey, you don’t need to go back to the gym. Why do you have to go back there? Why can’t you just work out here? Why don’t we just do this?’ It was this very low-key manipulative nature that she would have. And I don’t know if it stems from her past. I mean, it definitely does. I can’t deny that. … She would say stuff to me to try and make me feel bad about doing anything that I enjoyed. I was like, ‘Aright, well, I’ll sacrifice some of that.
I was not allowed to be around other females. I was constantly asked why I was going here. Or if I went to the gym, why am I going back to the gym? Why do I need to go back a second time?”
He also made some claims about Jana’s friendship with Kristin Cavallari. Jana was linked to Jay Cutler, Kristin’s ex, before dating Ian:
“They don’t have a relationship. They’re not friends. They had a falling out. … Nobody’s actually friends with [Jana]. It’s a manipulation tactic. It’s what she does.
Again, she has reached out to people in my past and she has reached out to a lot of people in [her ex-husband] Mike’s past.”
And Ian dropped a major bombshell – he alleged that Jana had an affair with her DWTS pro partner Gleb Savchenko back in 2016 when they competed on the show together:
“Jana has admitted to me that she slept with two guys while Mike was in rehab. She slept with Gleb. She justified it saying, ‘We were legally separated.’
She even tried to meet up with Gleb while we were dating. He was doing a show in Nashville and she asked me if it was OK if she met up with him. I said, ‘As long as there was nothing there anymore,’ and she said, ‘No.’ She never went and said it was out of respect for me.”
