Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke’s adorable friendship is still going strong.
Over the weekend, Jason, Emilia, and Game of Thrones co-creator David Benioff had a mini-reunion to celebrate David’s 51st birthday a month early – his birthday isn’t until September 25. And it looks like being reunited must have felt really good, because they were all smiles in their photos on Instagram.
“When your sun and stars rolls into town you check that he can still bench press a Khaleesi. #💪🏻 #😘,” Emilia wrote on a photo of Jason carrying her in his arms.
Jason shared a slideshow of photos from the celebration, posing with Emilia and David in separate shots.
“MOON OF MY LIFE. you are wonderful love u forever @emilia_clarke #smilelyeyes,” he captioned the post, adding, “happy birthday benioff you handsome generous bada– leo aloha j.”
Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen were each other’s “sun and stars” and “moon of my life.” And though they acted opposite each other for only one season, over the years, Jason and Emilia have continued to delight fans with fun photos when they get a chance to get together.
Jason has also supported Emilia during some of her more challenging times in her life – particularly when she was battling for her life after suffering two life-threatening aneurysms.
“I’ve kind of been a part of that whole situation for a very long time, so we’ve had so many scares and trying to find the right way to come out and help,” Jason told Entertainment Tonight back in 2019. “I just think it’s beautiful that… she’s so brave in helping the world and trying to raise awareness.”
“I’m very sad, because we almost lost her the first time. So, I love her to bits and she’s here and she’s going to do great things with it and teach the world,” he added.
So nice seeing these two together again!

Joe Jonas celebrated his 32nd year around the sun on Sunday (August 15).
His wife, Sophie Turner, commemorated the special occasion with new photos of the “Cake By The Ocean” singer on social media.
Posting photos from what looks like Joe’s birthday celebration – one photo showed Joe in a room with streamers that reads “Happy Birthday” as well as balloon arrangements, another showed him in posing in front of a doorway decorated metallic string curtains – she simple captioned it, “Birthday boy 🥳.”
The Jonas family also got in on the celebrations on Instagram, with brothers Nick and Kevin, and their dad, Kevin Sr. sharing sweet messages for the celebrant.
“Happy Birthday @joejonas We love you so much and we are so proud of you,” their dad captioned a photo of Joe and his mom, Denise.
“Happy birthday @joejonas love you man. You deserve all the happiness in the world,” Nick wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of the two of them.
Meanwhile, Kevin shared a boomerang clip of Joe showing off some dance moves. “Happy birthday @joejonas love you dude!!!” Kevin Jonas wrote, adding, “Dance your face off today!”
