JC Chasez is keeping the dream alive for *NSYNC fans everywhere. The beloved boy band has been popping up together here and there, sparking hope for a full-blown reunion—and JC isn’t ruling anything out.

In the past year alone, the group teamed up with Justin Timberlake on “Better Place” for the Trolls Band Together soundtrack and “Paradise” from his album Everything I Thought It Was. They also made waves at the 2023 VMAs, reuniting on stage to present an award.

But what about something more? In a recent interview on the I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario podcast, JC opened up about the possibility of an *NSYNC comeback, leaving fans hopeful for what could be.

“Look, the fun thing is, is that we’re always talking to one another, you know, and so you never know what idea could pop,” JC said, teasing the group’s ongoing camaraderie. “Right now, everybody’s focused on projects. Justin’s literally on tour, and I’m gearing up this project right now. So my focus is [Broadway concept album] Playing With Fire, but we’re always talking in the background… and it only takes one idea to pop. So, anything is possible. And that’s the fun part about us. It’s just we’re one text, one phone call from something.”

The Magic of *NSYNC

JC reflected on the magic the group shares every time they come together, even after all these years.

“Any time we get together, there’s always something special because we had such a great run and we have such a great history with one another,” he said. “It really made our lives wonderful—we had the opportunity to create things that you literally dream about.”

While nothing is set in stone, JC’s comments highlight the bond that keeps the group close. Their shared history and the sheer joy they brought to millions worldwide seem to keep the door open for future collaborations.

For now, JC is focused on his own projects, including the Broadway concept album Playing With Fire. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake is busy with his own tour. Still, the constant communication between the band members keeps the possibility of a reunion alive.

Whether it’s a tour, new music, or another surprise appearance, JC’s optimism is enough to fuel the hope of fans longing for an *NSYNC revival. As he says, it only takes one idea to pop—and when it comes to *NSYNC, anything truly feels possible.
