Jennifer Lawrence Already Giving Off Major Bride Vibes At Her Engagement Party

Someone might be tying the knot really soon.

Over the weekend, Jennifer Lawrence and fiancé Cooke Maroney celebrated their engagement. And JLaw was giving off major bridal feels in a blush-colored Juliana dress by L. Wells, a designer bridal label.

The dress actually has a really sweet personal connection the actress – it was designed by Lauren Wells, who used to work for Vera Wang before launching her own bridal fashion line, AND who happens to be Jennifer’s cousin. Plus, this isn’t the first time she wore a wedding dress to an event (and, no, that time in Hunger Games doesn’t count) – she attended a movie premiere in November 2017 in another L. Wells creation.

Jennifer is notoriously private about her personal life – she’s not even active on social media. But an engagement party would be pretty hard to keep under wraps. So, how were they able to keep the event on the DL?

According to a Harper’s Bazaar source, they didn’t reveal the location until that evening – and phones were also banned from the venue!

The event was reportedly attended by several celebs – including Emma Stone. Members of Jen’s glam team, stylists Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, and make-up artist Fulvia Farolfi were also there, and gave the public a glimpse of JLaw’s look for the evening.

Sharing the same photo on Instagram of the Oscar-winning actress walking down a garden path looking all stunning, they wrote:

“Here she comes! We couldn’t be happier and more excited for #jenniferlawrence to become a #MRS.. this weekend we toasted Jen and her groom to be.. too good of a time was had by all,” her stylists captioned the photo.

Fulvia shared the same sentiments, adding “YES!!! What a joy to be part of this moment!!”

L. Wells’ official Instagram account also posted the same photo, writing, ‘Congrats to the soon to be Mrs. Perfect JL looking like a dream in the Juliana dress.’

Jennifer and Cooke, a high-end art dealer, have been romantically linked since last spring, and two lovebirds got engaged in February.
