Jennifer Lawrence totally ships Bennifer!
ICYMI, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been sparking reconciliation rumors as of late. The two had a whirlwind romance back in the early aughts and almost got married. However, just days before they were set to tie the knot, they cancelled the wedding and officially called off the engagement shortly after.
It’s been 17 years since, but earlier this month, reports came out that the two have been hanging out again following her split from ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez. Then, last week, the two were snapped vacationing in Montana, with sources saying it was just the two of them.
Fans have been when reports of their maybe-reconciliation first started coming out – and it appears JLaw is no exception.
So, JLaw was with her pal Heather McMahan who guested on The B–ch Bible podcast. While Heather and host Jackie Schimmel were taping, JLaw suddenly chimed in, exclaiming, “Breaking f–king news! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together. They’re on vacation! They’re on vacation with each other right now!”
She then sang “Click the link in bio,” which kinda gives a clue that she may have seen the report on Instagram.
It appears JLaw is referring to the photos that were snapped over Mother’s Day weekend, which showed Ben and J.Lo driving to Montana.
Jokingly referring to JLaw as “Jen Garner” – who, as we know, is Ben’s ex-wife – the host and Heather did an impromptu mock interview asking her how she feels about the rumored romance.
“I’m so excited,” JLaw-as-Jen-Garner quips. “I’m so happy for them.”
JLaw isn’t the only celeb weighing in on the possible Bennifer reunion.
In an appearance on the Today show, Ben’s bestie Matt Damon said, “It’s a fascinating story. I hope it’s true. I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome.”
And when Busy Philipps was on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she was all, “We all love it. It reminds us of when we were young. My friend, Michelle Collins, pointed out he already is hotter. He already has started to return to his hot self.”
However, it seems host Andy Cohen disagrees, saying, “I think it’s a terrible idea.”
