Fresh off a dinner date where Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted getting their PDA on, the rumored couple are reportedly giving their relationship status some serious thought.
Bennifer wasn‘t shy about looking all loved-up when they went on a romantic dinner date at Wolfgang Puck’s resto Merois over on the rooftop of the Pendry Hotel in West Hollywood on Monday (May 31).
In photos published by Page Six, the pair looked all cuddly with their arms wrapped around each other as they headed in – at one point, J.Lo even had her head on Ben’s chest!
An eyewitness also tells Entertainment Tonight, “They looked very happy throughout the evening and Ben had his arm around J.Lo for most of the night. They arrived together and left together.”
Just last week, the two spent some time together in Miami – and even worked out together at a gym. And, according to sources, they were totally packing on the PDA there as well.
“They were holding hands, hugging, kissing. They weren’t trying to hide the fact that they were together,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “They are very much into each other and being together.”
ICYMI, Bennifer was huge back in 2002 – until they broke up in 2004. Now, everyone’s on tenterhooks about what’s going on with Bennifer 2.0 – the two began sparking reconciliation after Ben was spotted outside J.Lo’s L.A. home some time after the singer and ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez announced their split in April. They’ve since taken a trip to Montana, then Miami, and now this recent dinner date in L.A.
A source tells ET that the pair are totally “smitten” with each other.
“[Jennifer] has been telling her friends nice things about Ben and they’re having a lot of fun together,” the source said. “They feel very comfortable with each other, but are also completely smitten, and it still feels like having a new crush after all these years.”
And while neither J.Lo nor Ben have publicly spoken out about their rumored rekindled romance, it appears they’re not keeping things on the DL either.
“They don’t want to hide anymore,” an insider tells PEOPLE. “They are both excited about their relationship. They want to make sure they do everything they can to make this work.”
As for their relationship status, they’re already reportedly talking about taking it a step further.
Another source tells the outlet that the exes-turned-maybe-couple are “slowly starting to talk about the future,” claiming that, “This is not a casual relationship. They are taking it seriously and want it to be long-lasting.”
This def sounds like it’s way more than just “having fun together”!
