Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have made their relationship red carpet official – AGAIN!

After 18 years, Bennifer returned to the red carpet as a couple at the Venice Film Festival on Friday (September 10). The event marks their first-ever red-carpet appearance since rekindling their romance in May, with J.Lo showing her support for Ben’s upcoming film with BFF Matt Damon, The Last Duel.

The two were the picture-perfect romantic pair in their black and white outfits – Ben dapper in a classic black tux; J.Lo stunning in a silhouette-skimming white George Hobieka gown. They were also captured on camera doing their classic PDA move: Ben holding J.Lo close by the waist as he affectionately kisses the top of her head.

They just took us right back to the early aughts.

As a refresher, J.Lo and Ben were previously in a relationship from 2002-2004. They made their first red carpet debut in 2002, at the premiere of J.Lo’s film Maid In Manhattan – just one month after they got engaged. Their last red carpet appearance was back in August 2003, at the premiere of their film Gigli, before calling it quits in January 2004.

They two began sparking reconciliation rumors in May, with numerous sightings of the two of them spending time together. They have since gone public with their romance in July, becoming Instagram official on J.Lo’s birthday, which they celebrated with friends with a luxurious yacht vacation in the Mediterranean.

The two have since been spotted spending time together with their respective children – J.Lo’s twins Max and Emma, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony; Ben’s three children Violet, Serpahina, and Samuel, whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner. They were also spotted house-hunting multi-million dollar homes around Los Angeles, which sources speculate might be a sign they couple is getting ready for a life together.

But their red carpet appearance wasn’t the only reunion for the evening. The Last Duel’s premiere also marks besties Ben and Matt’s first writing collab since their Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting.

Ben and J.Lo joined Matt and wife Luciana Barroso at the premiere. They also shared a boat ride with Ben and Matt’s co-star Jodi Comer, and the film’s director Ridley Scott and his wife Giannina Facio the same evening.

Prior to hitting the red carpet on Friday, J.Lo and Ben were photographed on Thursday (September 9) holding hands in the streets of Venice, Italy as they waited for a water taxi. They were later snapped looking pretty cozy as they settled in their transport of choice.

J.Lo also made headlines recently, making a surprise appearance at the 2021 MTV VMAs in New York on Sunday (September 12) in a show-stopping David Koma ensemble.
