An interesting excerpt from Jessica Simpson’s upcoming book has gotten everyone talking.
In “Move Star: They Always Say They’re Single,” the 42-year-old entertainer wrote about meeting a huge movie star back in 2001 and then later on starting a secret romance with him in 2006!
Jessica was 21 in 2001 and around 26 in 2006.
She recounted that she first met this very famous movie star at the MTV VMAs in 2001. She and Nick Lachey were not together at this time. She wrote:
“This megastar, who I grew up thinking was so hot, eyeballed me up and down. Like he was undressing me with his eyes.”
Jessica and Nick rekindled their romance that same year. But after their relationship ended, she revealed that she reconnected with this movie star in 2006. She went on to detail a kiss that they shared at the Beverly Hills Hotel, writing:
“I felt this warm rush all the way down my body to the tips of my toes in my wedges.”
She said that she later saw this star on a red carpet with his girlfriend and refused to keep on seeing him:
“I was never ever in a million years going to be the other woman.”
But he apparently told her that he and his girlfriend were no longer together, telling Jessica:
“You’re the only girl I want to be with. You’re it.”
She then said that eventually, she began to feel she was only round “to have sex” with him:
“Yes, there was something sexy and enticing about all this, but there was also something demeaning about it. I felt like a call girl.”
Jessica shared that one day when they were together after he came back from filming, they started to kiss and he “just blurted out: ‘Why aren’t we having sex?’” She then realized that all the secrecy from the public eye was just “to hide me from his chick” Jessica stated:
“I dint care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, this was not a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of.”
She said that she left him the next day even if he called her while “weeping.”
Here are the hints that she gave on the movie star’s identity:
- He’s very famous and “known to even the most causal movie fan”
- He “made millions and millions per film”
- He was already a big film star in 2001 when they met because Jessica said she knew of him while she was growing up and “thinking he was so hot”
- According to her, he was in a relationship around the time they were together in 2006
