Two famous celebrity offsprings have apparently formed a strong bond!
In a new interview with Us Weekly, Jessica Simpson revealed that her daughter Maxwell, 9, is very, very good friends with Kim Kardashian’s daughter North, 8.
The 41-year-old singer and entrepreneur shared:
“One of Maxwell’s best friends is North.
She is amazing. She is a great kid, and she will be a part of a change in this world.”
Jessica also revealed that her husband Eric Johnson “just recently” coached the girls’ basketball team!
She went on to say that it is “fun” to be living in the same neighborhood as Kim, also 41, and her four kids with ex-husband Kanye West: North, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2:
“That [proximity] makes it easy.”
Jessica expressed how wonderful she thinks it is that Kim and her children have stayed “the same” even as their lives have unfolded on reality TV for so many years:
“I’m like, ‘I don’t know how y’all could do this all the time.’ I could only last three seasons [on Newlyweds], but they’re so open and they’ve always remained the same…
That’s really hard to do, and they’re powerhouses.”
Jessica and her ex-husband Nick Lachey starred in their own reality show, Newlyweds, from 2003 to 2005. They split in 2006.
Fun fact: Kim actually briefly dated Nick following his divorce from Jessica!
