Jesy Nelson has shared an emotional update about her pregnancy journey.

The 33-year-old former Little Mix star, who announced in January 2025 that she and boyfriend Zion Foster were expecting twins, recently revealed that she’s been experiencing complications.

Jesy explained that her twins are monochorionic, diamniotic (MCDA), meaning they share a placenta but have separate amniotic sacs. This condition requires careful monitoring, and earlier this week, she told fans she was undergoing scans to ensure the babies were safe.

On Saturday (March 8), Jesy took to Instagram with an emotional video explaining that doctors had decided a procedure was necessary. “I’ve been feeling a bit poorly the past few days and experiencing a few symptoms I need to watch out for,” she shared.

She went on to say, “Today, we came into the hospital to have a checkup just in case, and unfortunately, the symptoms have got worse. They have to perform the procedure, which is obviously not what we wanted to happen. But it’s necessary because it’s going to give our babies the best chance of surviving.”

With tears in her eyes, Jesy admitted, “We’re just hoping and praying for the best, really. I was gutted and had been hoping that we wouldn’t even be in this position. But that’s why they do this procedure—so that it literally gives you the best chance of your babies surviving.”

Our thoughts are with Jesy and Zion as they navigate this difficult time.
