What would you do if you Joe Jonas suddenly hijacked your workout class?
Some people actually got to experience that firsthand when Joe had an afternoon off and decided to drop in on a workout class in Atlanta.
Joe and his wife Sophie Turner are in Georgia working on some new projects – they were also spotted catching a baseball game earlier this month. And it seems the 31-year-old singer decided to spend some of his down time surprising unsuspecting fans.
Posting a fun video of his escapade on his Instagram, he began it by sharing, “I have an afternoon off and I Googled workout classes. And just down the street, there’s a Soul Cycle, so I thought let me look online and see if there are any workout classes today.
Lo and behold, there was one particular class that really stood out to him: a “Jonas Brothers vs. One Direction” themed class.
“The class is sold out, but I’m gonna see if I can walk in and say hi to some people,” he said.
When he got there, he found out that One Direction was winning – but probably not for long though. He actually got permission to go in – and surprised everyone when he pulled his mask down. Some of the reactions were legit priceless!
“Wait, is this for real?” the instructor on the mic asked. “Joe Jonas, everybody! We’re real right now. This is live! This is live!”
Joe hyped everyone up even more, telling the class, “Let’s push it!”, and even got on the instructor’s bike.
Looks like those fans will definitely Remember This class.
Speaking of which, with Joe hitting the road with the Jonas Brothers for their Remember This summer tour and Sophie about to start filming her upcoming film The Staircase, Joe says they’re headed into “new territory” when it comes to parenting their baby girl, Willa.
This will be the first time they’ll both be working since welcoming their daughter last summer.
“It’s definitely a new experience now that we are all kind of back. I’m going on tour, she’s starting a project,” Joe told E! News. “It’s going to be a lot of flying back and forth on days off, for me at least. It’s kind of a new territory.”
And, ICYMI, Joe also recently gave props to ex Taylor Swift for being “clever.”
In an interview with Buzzfeed earlier this month, he was asked: “If you could re-record any song from the Jonas Brothers catalogue, which one would you choose and why?”
His answer? “Good question. I think I would probably re-record our entire first album.”
But it’s his follow-up to his response that’s got fans buzzing. “Just do something like what Taylor [Swift] did recently, which I thought was really clever,” he added.
