Joe Jonas is finally sharing some deets about his baby girl – and he can’t help gushing about being a girl-dad.
FYI, Joe and wife Sophie Turner welcomed their daughter Willa in July of last year. The couple usually prefers to keep their personal life on the DL, and other than a statement announcing the birth, the new parents have mostly kept mum about their life as a new family.
Appearing on Tuesday’s (May 4) episode of CBS This Morning, Joe, who just recently finished filming his upcoming movie, Devotion, is opening up about his home life with their little bundle of joy.
“It’s been amazing. It’s been forced time at home. I think, I’m always on the go. I’m always moving and traveling, and touring,” he said on the show. “To be in one place for a solid amount of time, and just have my feet on the ground and be with my family, my immediate family, is time I don’t think I’ll get back.”
He says Willa is “gorgeous.”
“I’m so thankful and grateful,” he adds.
As for what’s he’s learned about being a parent: “Naps are nice. All around,” he joked.
Over the weekend, Joe and Sophie celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary by sharing never before seen photos from their wedding in Vegas on social media – which includes candid shots of the couple swimming fully clothed in a pool, DJ-ing their own wedding party, and basically having an epic blast at their nuptials.
“Happy 2 year Vegas Wedding anniversary to this big ol’ hunk of man meat ❤️ 🥩 ⛪️,” Sophie captioned her post on Instagram.
Joe also wrote, “Married as F@$K for 2 years! Love you bub @SophieT” – to which Sophie commented, “That’s hot.”
The two tied the knot at a wedding chapel after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards with an Elvis impersonator officiating. Shortly after, they said “I do” again in front of family and friends in a fancy, more formal wedding in France.
