Johnny Depp apparently has a new romance – and she is someone from his legal battles!
The 59-year-old actor is reportedly dating Joelle Rich, the London-based lawyer who worked on his legal team during his libel case against The Sun in the UK. He lost the trial in 2020.
Outlets have reported:
“[Joelle] was married when she met Depp, but is now divorcing her husband.
She and her stranger spouse share two children.”
A source talked to one publication, and said:
“They are dating but it’s not serious.”
However, another source spoke with another publication and revealed:
“It’s serious between them. They are the real deal… Their chemistry is off the charts.”
Though Joelle was not on Johnny’s legal team for his US case against Amber Heard, she was spotted showing support for him inside the Virginia courtroom during the trial. She was also photographed hugging Camille Vasquez, one of his US attorneys, as well as Johnny back in May outside the courtroom.
Yet another publication has since reported that Johnny and Joelle may have been dating longer than people initially realized, with sources telling them that they were already together when Johnny was in court for the said defamation trial against Amber earlier in 2022.
