JoJo Siwa has made it official — she’s dating Celebrity Big Brother castmate Chris Hughes.
After weeks of speculation and fan theories flying all over social media, the 22-year-old entertainer confirmed that she and the 32-year-old reality star are, in fact, romantically involved. And no, it’s not just for show.
In a new interview with The Guardian, JoJo shut down any talk that their chemistry was fake or staged for TV. “No, this is a very genuine connection – we’re not faking a thing,” she said. “People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop. I think everyone’s just curious, and I can’t blame them.”
When asked if the connection was still platonic, JoJo made it clear: “It’s not platonic any more, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.”
She also responded to suggestions that the romance was a PR stunt. “Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.”
Looks like JoJo’s glow-up includes a new romance — and it’s definitely real.
