Is Joshua Bassett giving fans some “real personal” insight about him?
After all the Olivia Rodrigo-Joshua Basset-Sabrina Carpenter drama that’s been all over the internet over the last few months, it’s looking like there’s a plot twist that nobody saw coming.
The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actor seemingly made a surprising revelation during an interview with Clevver News.
Answering a bunch of questions from fans, when asked what he admires about Harry Styles, here’s what he said: “He is a very classy man. He’s also very well-rounded and kinda does it all – acting, singing, fashion.”
“I think he’s just a nice guy, doesn’t say too much, when he talks, it matters,” he continued. He’s just cool – who doesn’t think Harry Styles is cool?”
While all of those are definitely not untrue, fans are finding what he said next very interesting.
“Also, he’s hot, you know? He’s very charming, too. Lots of things,” he very casually went on, adding, “This is also my coming out video, I guess.”
And then there’s that clip of the outtake from “Feel Something” music video that he posted on Instagram where it looked like he was coming in towards his friend Manny Escobar for a kiss.
And the plot thickens…
Then again, Joshua is one with a sense of humor. When a fan asked, “When are you collaborating with Harry Styles?”, he jokingly responded, “Why don’t you ask Harry that! I’m just kidding, I haven’t been responding to his calls. I should probably get back to him. He just keeps asking me to do an album, and I’m like, ‘Dude, let’s just do one song and then we can worry about the album. Calm down.”
“Anyway, one day. One day soon,” he added. “let’s manifest it, let’s make it happen.”
