Julia Fox is getting some major time in the spotlight because of her new high-profile romance with Kanye West and their over-the-top dates — but she is making it clear that she is not in it for the attention.
The Uncut Gems actress seemingly addressed this on her Forbidden Fruit podcast. In the episode released Friday on Spotify, Julia stated that while she used to love getting a lot of attention, now she “couldn’t care less” about what people are saying about her budding relationship with the 44-year-old rapper:
“It’s funny cause I’m getting all of this attention, but I really couldn’t care.”
She doubled down on the fact that none of it matter in her and Kanye’s romance, especially because she’s always been with men of a certain stature:
“People are like, ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’
Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my adult life, let’s keep it real.”
Julia made it clear that all that matters to her is making art and “putting things into the world”:
“That is more thrilling to me now than eyes on me.
I couldn’t care less.”
Kane references Julia in his new single “Easy” featuring The Game. He raps in the track:
“And my new b**** bad, I know Illuminati mad.”
Earlier this month, Julia spoke about dating Kanye. She said in her podcast:
“For right now, I’m just living in the moment and I don’t have any expectations. There are no labels. None of that. It’s just people that make each other feel better. Its’ really such a Gemini/Aquarius connection.
It’s very inspirational.”
