Concertgoers at SZA’s show on Friday night (May 23) at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles got more than they bargained for when none other than Justin Bieber appeared on stage.
The surprise guest moment happened during SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour performance, and fans were absolutely thrilled when Justin, 31, made his entrance dressed head-to-toe in black, complete with a sleek Balenciaga jacket.
Together, the duo performed “Snooze” from SZA’s chart-topping album SOS, and the chemistry on stage was undeniable. As they wrapped the song, Justin gave SZA a kiss on the hand and the two shared a fun moment dancing together in front of the massive crowd.
While Justin was lighting up the stage, his biggest supporter, wife Hailey Bieber, was in the audience cheering him on. Hailey shared several Instagram Stories from the night, including a shot of Justin and SZA mid-performance with the caption, “My 2 favorite artists.”
It was a rare live appearance from Justin, who’s been keeping a relatively low profile musically. But judging from the energy at SoFi, fans are clearly still here for every surprise Bieber moment. And when it’s with someone as major as SZA? Even better.
