Over the weekend, Kanye West held his first campaign rally for his presidential campaign in South Carolina – during which he tearfully shared that he and wife Kim Kardashian had discussed the possibility not pushing through with the pregnancy of their first child, North West.

It seems his comments didn’t sit well with Kim – the reality star was reportedly “upset” about the comments he made, knowing that their daughter would probably see it when she gets older. And, according to a source, the family is concerned about Kanye’s mental health.

“Kim, the family and Kanye’s friends are worried about him,” the source told Entertainment Tonight.

“Kanye isn’t in a good place and isn’t listening to anyone trying to talk him into getting help. Kim is upset with Kanye for his rants yesterday, especially talking about the possibility of having an abortion and not giving birth to North,” the source says. “She knows this is something North will see when she gets older and that’s heartbreaking.”

“At the end of the day people close to Kanye want him to end this presidential run now before he does more damage to himself, his brand and the family,” the source adds.

“Kim is mortified,” another source divulged to Page Six. “She has desperately been trying to help Kanye, keep him calm and prevent him from having any public meltdowns. The family believe he is having a bipolar episode. He won’t take medications because he feels they make him less creative.”

Then, on Monday (July 20) night, Kanye went and dropped a series of tweets calling out his wife and mother-in-law Kris Jenner for trying to “lock me up,” and telling Kris that she and her boyfriend were no longer allowed near his children anymore, and even claimed that the movie Get Out was about him.

Many of those tweets have since been deleted – but some screenshots of his posts can still be found on the social media platform.

He later concluded his tweet-spree by announcing that he would be focusing his on music – and reiterated that his upcoming album, DONDA, is dropping on Friday (July 24).

Following the tweet storn, many have expressed concerns over Kanye’s well-being and the #PrayForYe became a trending topic on Twitter.

As for his political aspirations, on the Fourth of July, Kanye tweeted that he was running for president – and in an interview with Forbes, he says he definitely plans to run in 2020, versus his original plan in 2024.

ABC News 4 reports that the South Carolina Board of Elections confirmed that Kanye will NOT be appearing on the state’s ballot as a presidential candidate come November’s elections.

According to the news outlet, Ye did not file the petition with the required 10,000 signatures in order to be placed on the ballot by the deadline, which was Monday (July 20) noon.

So far, the rapper is only registered to appear on ballots in Oklahoma.
