Her husband, Chris Pratt, has received quite a significant amount of backlash in recent years over a myriad of issues that have gone viral. And now, she is addressing all the negativity and criticism that the Marvel superstar has been getting.
When asked by the New York Times to touch on some of the things that people have been saying about Chris, Katherine stated:
“I see what people say. But I just know that it’s so far from the reality.”
She went on to say that dealing with negativity and backlash is not anything new to her, adding:
“Growing up, hearing people say certain things about my parents, my siblings, my extended family.”
Her parents are Arnold Schwarzenneger and Maria Shriver. Katherine said that her mom gave her advice to steer clear from the “never-ending” cycle of having to explain her side or respond.
Among the scandals Chris has been involved in over the years involve that viral Instagram post of his highlighting his “healthy daughter” that many on the internet immediately pounced on, thinking it was a slight towards his son with Anna Faris, his ex-wife.
Another one was the “worst Hollywood Chris” debate, which a lot of people awarded to him.
