Keke Palmer just had a super chill birthday celebration with Darius Jackson, despite all those rumors about them calling it quits. The Nope star turned 30, and guess who she decided to hang with? Yup, her rumored ex, the 29-year-old fitness dude. Talk about turning the tables, right?
The word on the street is that these two broke up earlier this month, but guess what? Keke decided to throw a curveball and celebrate her big day with Darius. And guess how we know? She went live on Instagram to show everyone what was up.
In this Insta Live extravaganza, Keke and Darius were caught kicking back and enjoying some adult beverages, soaking in the birthday vibes. The camera was rolling, and Keke decided to ask the question: Why’s Darius always giving Virgos, which just happens to be her zodiac sign, a hard time?
And here’s what he came back with:
“My mom’s a Virgo, my brother’s a Virgo, my best friend’s a Virgo, my grandma’s a Virgo.”
And just when you thought that was it, Darius looked right at Keke and went:
“My partner in crime’s a Virgo.”
Well, talk about a birthday twist! Keke didn’t waste any time thanking him for making her day super special:
“I just thank you for making it special for my birthday. That’s so sweet.”
Here’s the scoop: Keke and Darius hit a rough patch earlier when he kind of called her out publicly for wearing a steamy outfit to an Usher concert. He saw a clip of her rocking a sheer black dress at Usher’s Las Vegas show and tweeted:
“It’s the outfit tho… you a mom.”
And then, like clockwork, the rumor mill started churning. People thought they were done for good. But hold your horses! Darius cleared the air with a tweet, setting things straight:
“I haven’t spoken to anyone about anything or gave permission to anyone to speak for me… So all these sites & post about me making any type of statement is false.”
