Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are getting candid about on-set attractions while filming their mega-hit Twilight film franchise!
In the latest episode of Ashley’s The Twilight Effect podcast, the former co-stars dished on who they were attracted to in the cast during the years they spent making the five movies.
The 37-year-old actor, who played Emmett Cullen, revealed that he felt “so connected” to Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie Hale:
“Nikki was awesome. I really fell in love with her as a human being in Breaking Dawn because we just had so much time to talk and she’s really, really special, has such a kind heart.
I remember I felt so connected to her.”
He went on to say that he’s “surprised” they didn’t get together at the time, noting that he could not recall his relationship status back then:
“I’m actually kind of surprised her and I didn’t date throughout all this!”
What he can still recall is his onscreen kiss with Nikki:
“We had the kissing scene… and she had soft lips. I remember that.
It was a good kiss. Sensual.”
Kellan also candidly admitted that he “of course” had a crush on Ashley when they first met — but that she “quickly became like one of the guys, beautiful, but also so easy to get along with my group of friends.”
Ashley concurred, stating:
“I think we pretty quickly moved to the friends space, which was great.”
The actress then revealed that she was enamored with Jackson Rathborne. Jackson played her character Alice’s love interest, Jasper. She shared:
“I feel like everyone had pretty great chemistry. I had such a crush on Jackson… We were like, ‘Should we do it for the art?’”
