Kelsea Ballerini is breaking her silence after being involved in an on-stage incident that occurred at her concert in Idaho days ago.

The 29-year-old country singer was performing at the Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, Idaho, when she was hit in the face by an object. She was forced to stop her concert for a while following the incident.

Now, Kelsea has revealed how she is doing in a new statement. She said:

“Hi. I’m fine. Someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye, and it more so just scared me than hurt me.

We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that’s why I walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe to continue. That’s all I ever want, is for shows to feel like a safe place for all of us.

I love you and appreciate all of the concern, let’s make the last two shows of the Heartfirst tour the best yet.”

Kelsea is the latest music star to be involved in an unacceptable incident caused by an audience member during a show. Bebe Rexha had to get stitches recently after a cell phone was thrown at her face during a concert. Ava Max was struck in the face by a fan who suddenly came up on stage, and during Pink’s concert a fan threw their mother’s ashes on stage.
