Filming for The Masked Singer’s season 7 premiere apparently took a turn.
It’s being reported that during taping last week for Fox’s competition series, two judges walked off the stage. The judges were identified as Ken Jeung and Robin Thicke.
Reports say that Ken and Robin walked out when Rudy Giuliani was unmasked.
Deadline states that Rudy Giuliani, who is the former attorney of Donald Trump, became the first contestant who was revealed on the show this season. After he was unmasked, Ken and Robin “quickly left the stage in protest.”
It is being said that Ken and Robin’s fellow judges Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy remained onstage following the unmasking. The two women engaged in some banter with Rudy when the other two judges exited.
Ken and Robin eventually returned to the set.
Rudy Giuliani is not the first controversial contestant to appear on the show. In 2020, former Alaska Governor and Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin appeared on the series, and led to many raised eyebrows upon being unmasked.
The Masked Singer season 7 will premiere on March 9 on Fox.
