Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are having another child together.
It’s been officially confirmed that the 38-year-old reality star and the 31-year-old NBA player are expecting a second child via surrogate. The two are already parents to a 4-year-old daughter, True.
A rep for Khloe officially confirmed the news and revealed when the baby was conceived, telling E! News:
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.
Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
With Khloe’s rep confirming that the pair’s surrogate became parents back in November of last year, that seems to mean that Khloe did not know that Tristan had fathered another child, a son named Theo with Maralee Nichols, at the time Khloe and Tristan’s baby was conceived.
It was in December when news broke that Tristan had impregnated Maralee. Maralee gave birth later that month to Theo. Khloe split up with Tristan after she found out.
Before all of that paternity drama, Khloe had been considering having another baby with Tristan for a few years, even when they were not dating. In 2020 and 2021, Khloe’s attempt at having another child with Tristan was documented on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where she found out there is “an 80-something per cent chance” she would miscarry should she get pregnant again. That is when they began to explore surrogacy. She said at the time:
“I definitely want [True] to have another sibling, and I think, you know, it’s selfish of me if I don’t give her that.
But I want to make sure that whoever we choose as a surrogate is the right fit for our family. I’m not just rushing to do something so if I find one even within the next year, I’ll feel good about that.”
The question on fans’ minds now as the big news has been revealed is this: Are Khloe and Tristan back together? Well, a source shared with this with Entertainment Tonight:
“The two aren’t together and Khloe will have the baby full time.
Khloe wants Tristan in both the kids’ lies as much as he wants to be.”
