Years ago, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint while at her hotel room in Paris, France. The reality star was bound and gagged, and was begging for her life.

Now, one of the thieves who did that to her and stole $10M worth of jewelry from her is speaking out.

In an interview on Vice News, Yunis Abbas said about the crime:

“I honestly didn’t really know her. I knew her husband, Kanye West but I didn’t know her. But I saw one of her shows where she threw her diamond in the pool in that episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I thought, ‘She’s got a lot of money. This lady doesn’t care at all.’

Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that.

I went on the internet, and it’s true, I saw her jewelry, I saw her ring, I saw that she showed it everywhere, and we knew this information through social media.”

He staunchly declared that he felt no guilt whatsoever for what he did to her:

“Guilty? No, I don’t care. I don’t care… [Celebrities] should be a little less showy toward people who can’t afford it. For some people, it’s provocative.”
