Kourtney Kardashian just dropped a big bombshell about her engagement ring.
In the recent episode of The Kardashians, the 43-year-old reality star revealed that she actually broke the ring that her fiancé Travis Barker gave her!
Kourtney, who said yes to Travis following a romantic proposal at the beach in 2021, shared that she accidentally stepped on the stunning 12 carat oval ring from Lorraine Schwartz. The incident happened just days after the got engaged.
In the show, she told her mom Kris Jenner that she cried for hours and had “a nervous breakdown” after she stepped on it in her closet. Kourtney relayed what happened:
“I was sitting on my floor folding sweatshirts and I took the ring off and I put it next to me on the floor thinking it’d be safe right next to me.
I had to get something up above in my closet, and when I stepped down I stepped on the ring.”
Kourtney later on added:
“I was hysterically crying in the closet for, like, hours. Then I called Travis, I was like: ‘I did something really, really bad’ and he handled it the best, but it really gave me a nervous breakdown.”
