Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s love has conquered Las Vegas!
On Tuesday, news broke that Kourtney and Travis made an impromptu trip to the One Love Wedding Chapel in Vegas after their appearance at the 2022 Grammys. The bombshell report stated that the pair said “I do” in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator in a ceremony that took place at 1:45 am on Monday (April 4) and lasted about 10 – 15 minutes.
One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson confirmed that the two were at his chapel, stating:
“I didn’t know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were.
They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis. They showed a lot love and had a lot of fun.”
He said that the couple danced and kissed while exchanging vows, and they did not exchange rings — they celebrated instead by tossing a bouquet of fresh roses:
“They were just fun and in love.”
The following day, Kourtney herself shared the story behind her and Travis’ Vegas nuptials as well as a few photos from their memorable night. She wrote on Instagram:
“Found these in my camera roll. Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”
Travis shared the post on his Instagram Stories, and also shared his own photos, writing:
“What happens in Vegas ❤️🤵🏻♀️🤵🏻💒,”
Kourtney’s post seemingly reveals that their wedding in Vegas was not legal — but as she herself said, practice makes perfect! And the happy couple are all about celebrating their love and embracing their future together.
A source dished on Tuesday that the ceremony was all in good fun for the 42-year-old reality star and 46-year-old musician:
“Kourtney and Travis had a wedding celebration in Las Vegas on Sunday night after the GRAMMYs. It was a fun, somewhat spontaneous thing ahead of their actual wedding this spring. Travis thought it would be a lot of fun and cute to commemorate their relationship this way. Kourtney is so in love with Travis and is down to do anything he’s into.
Travis loves to flaunt their love and can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with Kourtney. Kourtney is so happy and feels like it’s a whole different world from when she was with Scott. They’re both very excited to keep celebrating together and to honor their love with their friends and family.”
