Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti sent fans into a frenzy on Tuesday (August 4), when Kristin posted a photo of the two of them together on Instagram – the Very Cavallari star had her arm around her ex-boyfriend’s neck, and the pair looked preeetty cozy.
“2004 or 2020?” Kristin captioned the snap, seemingly referencing the time they started dating.

Kristin and Stephen’s on-and-off romance on MTV’s Laguna Beach was one of the hit reality show’s highlights. Unfortunately for the pair’s shippers, their high school romance didn’t last. But according to an Us Weekly source, they’ve “always been friends.”
Although the picture quality is quite terrible, her Instagram Stories seem to confirm that it’s a recent pic – she’s wearing the same dress.
Excited fans soon flooded the comments section.

Their reunion comes months after Kristin and estranged husband Jay Cutler announced that they were getting divorced after seven years of marriage.
No confirmation yet as to whether this is just a friendly reunion or there’s a little somethin’ somethin’ going on. But while we’re waiting to hear more about this reunion, let’s talk about another couple that has reportedly rekindled their romance.
After months of rumors, sources say Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson “are back together.”
“Things have been going really well,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
“Khloe is doing what she feels is right for herself and her daughter, True,” the source added, noting that Khloe is aware that the decision will probably be met with criticism by others – including her fans and loved ones.
“Khloe has never listened to outside voices, she’s always stayed true to her heart,” the source continued. “Things with Khloe and Tristan have been great and the couple is taking this time in quarantine to really reconnect and enjoy one another.”
The couple broke up back in early 2019 – after Tristan became allegedly involved in a cheating scandal with Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend, Jordyn Woods. Before that, he was also accused of cheating on a then-pregnant Khloe just days before she gave birth to their daughter True.
Although the couple went their separate ways, the Good American co-founder and the NBA player have since developed a positive co-parenting relationship for their two-year-old daughter, True.
The two have been quarantining together during the pandemic, which, according to an Entertainment Tonight source, has “allowed them to reconnect without outside influences.”
Although romance rumors have been denied for months, speculations that the two have rekindled their relationship have been heated up among fans – especially after Tristan attended Khloe’s 36th birthday party along with her family and friends AND he wrote her an uber sweet birthday message on his Insta.
However, an E! News source said at the time that while things are “going very well” between the couple, things haven’t quite reached that point —at least not yet.
“Khloé seems very happy with where things are right now. He seems committed and has made changes,” the source says. “Obviously Khloe is hesitant and is taking it very slow. The time they have had together during quarantine has been very special and meaningful.”
“Khloé realizes when Tristan goes back to playing basketball and on the road, everything will change,” the source adds. “She isn’t getting ahead of herself and she is just enjoying having him around right now and all of the family time they have had together with True.”
An ET source also said that Khloe was “being cautious” with Tristan.
“At the end of the day Khloe wants her daughter, True, to have both her parents around as much as possible, and if they can make it work, she wants to try,” the source said at the time. “Khloe has gone through a lot and has reiterated that to Tristan, who insists he has changed.”
But, even as early as a month ago, a source told People that the former couple are “giving their relationship another try.” Not only that, Tristan is also “working hard to prove himself and has been a great dad to True.” And, apparently, the pair also “acted like were back together” at Khloé’s recent birthday party.
