Lady Gaga is back on top!
The 38-year-old pop icon has once again claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with her latest album, MAYHEM, marking another milestone in her already legendary career. Billboard confirmed on Sunday (March 16) that the album debuted with an impressive 219,000 equivalent album units in its first week, making it the biggest debut for a female artist this year.
Not only does this mark Gaga’s seventh No. 1 album, but it also gives her the biggest streaming week of her career. The Poker Face singer previously topped the charts with Chromatica, A Star Is Born, Joanne, Cheek to Cheek, ARTPOP, and Born This Way. With MAYHEM, she now boasts an incredible 11 top 10-charting projects.
The album’s debut is the biggest by a female artist in over six months, following Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, which launched with 362,000 units in September 2024. MAYHEM has also been a major hit with vinyl collectors, selling 74,000 copies in its first week—making it Gaga’s biggest vinyl sales week ever.
With another chart-topping album under her belt, Gaga proves that she remains one of the most influential and unstoppable forces in music.
