New year, new Lana Del Rey?
The 33-year-old singer has big plans for 2019 – including dropping new music. She also joked about her new year’s resolution to “live more like an Instagram baddie/YouTube vlogger” with her fans on Twitter.
“This year my New Years resolution is to live more like an Instagram baddie/YouTube vlogger in my real life (sorry not planning on sharing) doing for own personal pleasure LOL.”
The “Honeymoon” singer listed down some of the things that “vloggers swear by.”
“Things that vloggers swear by:
1. Air fryers?
2. Anastasia contour kit
3. Thousand dollar glow ups including eyelash extensions
4. Serata hot sauce and coffee
5. Gummybear hair care
6. Insta pot
7. Personal trainers
8. Girl weekend getaways
9. Pajamas during day
10. Spray tan”
In a follow up tweet, she wrote “sriracha****” presumably to clarify number 4 on her list.
But that’s not all. She added that she’ll also be strengthening her faith.
“11. Strengthen relationship with God obvs”
Hope she changes her mind about not sharing her soon-to-be vlogger life though.
As for her upcoming album, Norman F—ing Rockwell, Lana told fans that more new music is coming – hopefully by next week.
“I think I’m putting a song out on January 8,” she said in an Instagram Live session on Sunday (December 30), but added “but I’m not a thousand percent on it. Maybe the 8th.”
She previously teased a new song called “Sylvia Plath,” but it’s still unclear whether this will be the track she’s planning to drop next.
So far, she’s already released three singles from her new album. “Mariners Apartment Complex” and “Venice B-tch” dropped a week apart in September, and “How To Disappear” was released in October.
She also confirmed that her album is “completely finished”, but, although its artwork has been shot already, she might change the cover.
Norman F—ing Rockwell is reportedly slated to come out on March 29, 2019, according to MTV.
With a lot of highly-anticipated albums to be released this year, it looks like 2019 will be an exciting year in the music scene.
