OMG! It’s finally here!

Lauv and Troye Sivan are starting 2019 on a high note.

When two of pop’s hottest new artists announced they were teaming up for their first collaboration, fans (us included) couldn’t have been more excited. And, now, we finally get to hear it!

“I’m So Tired…” drops TODAY and it is fire.

With each artist taking a verse, they share their struggles in the romance department – something that many can totally relate to – and ultimately ends up with the sentiment:

I’m so tired of love songs

So tired of love songs

So tired of love songs

So tired of love

Just wanna go home

Wanna go home

Wanna go home

Lauv and Troye’s sound and style play off each other seamlessly in this bop. It may be called “I’m So Tired…” but it’s something we won’t get tired of hearing.

What’s more, we’ll get to see them perform the song TOGETHER. They’re set to go on Jimmy Kimmel Live! On February 6th, so watch out for that, too!

Lauv had actually teased about their collaboration early this year when he wrote on Twitter: “happy new year, may you feel more full and close to the people you love this year. also i got a new song comin with a very iconic friend & i cant wait for you to hear it 💙

Turns out, the “iconic” friend is none other than Troye. Ever since they went on social media to share their sleep playlist on Spotify called Lauv x Troye Sivan: i’m so tired…(some of the boys’ favorite sleep songs), which they made with “nothing implied whatsoever” and for “literally for no reason, whatsoever,” the two of them got fans buzzing about a possible collaboration.

Days later, they announced the exciting news that they were indeed working together on a track called “I’m So Tired.”

“Guys not to be dramatic but this song legit is like an instant slapper,” Troye promised in one tweet.

And, seemingly addressing Lauv in another tweet, he teased that this could be their big breakout moment. “Let us Infiltrate the general public. Together,” he wrote.

Lauv has been taking the world by storm with his anthemic songs about young love and self-actualization. Dubbed by Rolling Stone as “Pop’s Up-and-Coming Heartbreak King,” he exploded on the music scene with hits like “I Like Me Better” and “There’s No Way” with Julia Michaels, providing vocals for DJ Snake’s “A Different Way,” plus songwriting creds on hits like “No Promises” by Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato, and “Boys” for Charli XCX. He’s performed to nationwide audiences on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show and The Late Late Show, as well as headlined two world tours and opened for Ed Sheeran on his US stadium tour.

Troye has likewise been blazing a trail in the entertainment scene – he dropped his sophomore album Bloom last year, worked with some of music’s biggest names like Ariana Grande (“Dance To This”) and Charlie XCX (“1999”), and starred in a new movie alongside Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Lucas Hedges, Boy Erased. The Australian YouTuber also received a Golden Globe nod for Best Original Song for “Revelation,” which is part of the movie’s soundtrack.

It’s definitely been a big 2018 for both Lauv and Troye. And 2019 is already looking bright!
