Looks like Liam Hemsworth has been busy keeping himself in really good shape.

It’s been six months since he and Miley Cyrus split. And in a recent interview with Men’s Health Australia, he opens up about “rebuilding” after his break up.

“Rebuilding?” he asks with a laugh when the interviewer asks about how he’s spent his time. “Yeah, that’s a good way to put it.”

“This last six months, honestly, for keeping my head level and just staying balanced, I’d say exercise has been big for me,” he adds.

He and Miley announced their split in August 2019, after eight months of marriage. They finalized their divorce in January of this year.

But Liam hasn’t been idle. He’s kept himself super active – thanks in part to his new Quibi thriller Most Dangerous Game.

“I spent most of the project running around the streets and getting beaten up as well. But it was a great thing ’cause it just kept me moving. I was doing like, 10 [kilometers] a day or something at one point, which I’ve never done in my life,” he explained.

All that running got him slimming down though, and he actually struggled to maintain his size.

“I always hated long distance so I never did anything pretty much beyond that (10km),” he admits.

But his trainer, Rise Movement’s Jason Walsh, helped him bulk back up – and can’t believe how quickly Liam got ripped.

“I can’t believe how well his body responds when he’s not going through stuff,” Jason explains. “I haven’t seen him this happy for a long time. We took advantage of that.”
