Lil Nas X is now a proud home owner at 21!
The “Old Town Road” singer just bought his first house and shared glimpses of his new place with fans on Instagram.
“bought my first house today 😢” he captioned the slideshow of pictures, starting with a snap of him holding the keys to his new home. He also shared pics of some of the home’s features, which include a big glass doors, a stunning black-and-white kitchen, a jacuzzi, a tub overlooking an amazing view, a yard with wooden fences and planters, and modern lighting fixtures.
Nas has previously opened up about his struggles on the road to making his viral No. 1 hit, “Old Town Road.” He dropped out of college and went to live with his sister, who later kicked him out and another brother of his who was providing assistance “left to the military.” On top of that, his songs “were no longer doing good.”
The rapper went to live with another brother after “feeling hopeless,” but claimed that “it was domestic violence everyday [sic].”
Nas penned “Old Town Road,” which went viral and became a huge hit in 2019 – it bagged the record for the longest-running number one in US chart history, and won him two Grammy Awards. He was also named a New York Times best seller in January for his children’s book, titled C Is for Country.
