Lili Reinhart, along with the rest of the Riverdale cast and crew, are back on set to finish up the final episodes of Riverdale’s Season 4, and start on Season 5. However, resuming production amid the pandemic also means there some strict guidelines that everyone has to follow to help ensure everyone’s safety.

The 23-year-old actress previously shared some preparations they had to undertake before going back to work on the set of Riverdale, which is filmed in Vancouver, Canada.

“We’re about to go back in a couple of days to start — well, I have to quarantine for two weeks — but then we’re starting our season 5,” the 23-year-old actress shared on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month.

In a recent interview with Nylon, she shared that although she and the cast are excited to go back to work, there is one thing she’s not really keen on when it comes to returning to work: the cast has to stay on location without breaks until Christmas due to COVID-19.

“I genuinely feel like a prisoner, going back to work, because I cannot leave Canada. That doesn’t feel good,” Lili told Nylon. “You can’t go home for Thanksgiving, can’t visit your family. No one can come visit you unless they quarantine for two weeks. It just feels f–ked.”

With no breaks in between filming, they also won’t be able to take on new projects over a hiatus. “I’m very lucky, but it’s like, ‘I need to keep going. I need to keep going,’” she added.

Lili does have two other projects though – her movie Chemical Hearts, which she starred in and executive produced, recently dropped on Amazon, and her upcoming book of poems, Swimming Lessons, which will be released on September 29.
