Lily Allen and David Harbour are gearing up to tie the knot – and they’ve filed the paperwork!
The music artist and the Stranger Things star have sparked marriage speculations in the past – David called Lily his “wife” during an Instagram Live back in March.
But Lily quickly tried to dispel rumors, telling David in the video, “You think you married a pop star? You didn’t.”
“Not that we’re married. We’re not married. I just want to make sure you know,” she added.
“But she is my wife, my wife,” David insisted, before Lily pacified him – and fans – saying, “We do pretend.”
In May, Lily was spotted sporting what appears to be an engagement ring in her Instagram photos. When a fan asked to confirm if it was indeed what it looked to be, she coyly replied, “First rule of engagement club.”
Now, the couple is one step closer to officially becoming husband and wife. Entertainment Tonight reports that the two have got a marriage license in Las Vegas on Sunday (September 6). It’s still unclear when they plan to say “I do” – but their license is valid for a year from Sunday.
Lily and David were romantically linked in October 2019, after they were spotted getting their PDA on in New York City. They kept their budding romance on the DL for months, before finally going red carpet official in January at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
