Lily Collins is officially a mum!
The Emily in Paris star, 35, just announced the arrival of her first child—a baby girl—born via surrogate.
Lily and her husband, filmmaker Charlie McDowell, shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a heartwarming first photo of their daughter and revealing her beautiful name.
“Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell. Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again…” Lily wrote in her caption.
Baby Tove’s birth comes at a particularly meaningful time for Lily, who had just wrapped up her West End run in Barcelona days before becoming a mum.
The post was met with an outpouring of love from friends and fans alike. Stars like Amanda Seyfried, Billie Lourd, Sarah Hyland, Jordana Brewster, and Riley Keough all jumped into the comments to congratulate the new parents—within minutes of the announcement!
For those who don’t know, Lily and Charlie’s romance has been a Hollywood fairy tale. The couple first got together in 2019 and tied the knot in a dreamy 2021 wedding. They also come from seriously famous families.
Lily is the daughter of legendary musician Phil Collins, while Charlie’s parents are Oscar-winning actress Mary Steenburgen and actor Malcolm McDowell. He’s also the stepson of Cheers star Ted Danson.
With talent running in the family, baby Tove is already set up for an exciting future.
Congrats to Lily, Charlie, and their little one!
