Lily James is finally speaking out about those PDA photos with The Pursuit Of Love co-star Dominic West.
ICYMI, in October 2020, Lily and Dominic were snapped looking a little too cozy during their al fresco meal and the scooter ride they shared in Rome, Italy. This all happened about a week after reports came out that Lily and ex Matt Smith had gone their separate ways for good, and while Dominic is very much married to wife Catherine Fitzgerald.
When the photos first came out, Lily stayed silent about the whole sitch, and refused to comment when asked about it during a press interview for her then-upcoming movie, Rebecca.
“This isn’t the time for me to do that but I appreciate you asking,” she politely responded at the time.
Meanwhile, Dominic reunited with his wife Catherine in their home in Wiltshire, England and issued a written statement to photographers while putting on a very public display of affection in front of the cameras. “Our marriage is strong and we’re very much still together. Thank you,” the letter read.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Lily was asked about being “at the center of a media storm” because of the photos.
Here’s what she had to say: “Ach, I’m not really willing to talk about that. There is a lot to say, but not now, I’m afraid.”
According to an Us Weekly source, Catherine and Lily “were both horrified by the pictures.” The whole incident reportedly complicated Dominic and Catherine’s marriage AND “strained Lily and Dominic’s working and personal relationship too.”

Lily transformed into the blonde bombshell with her platinum blonde tresses teased into an updo accompanied by Pam’s signature fringe bangs in 90s. She’ll be starring opposite Sebastian Stan, who confirmed the casting news on Instagram Stories back in December.
