Lisa Marie Presley has sadly died. The daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley was 54.
The iconic singer-songwriter passed away on Thursday (January 12) after she went into cardiac arrest on the morning of that day.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Lisa’s mom Priscilla. Priscilla released an emotional statement to announce her daughter’s passing.
In her statement to People Priscilla said:
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
Shortly before Lisa’s death was confirmed, grave details were revealed about her condition. A report revealed that Lisa was rushed to the hospital after going into “full cardiac arrest” and that she was on life support and put in an induced coma.
Priscilla is survived be three children – Riley Keough, 33, and twins Finley and Harper, 14. Her son Benjamin passed away in 2020, taking his life on his 28th birthday.
