Many would like to stir the pot about speculated beef between the former members of One Direction — but Louis Tomlinson just ain’t having it.
In a recent interview on Australia’s “The Project” Wednesday, the 30-year-old musician was quick to shut down attempts to get him to talk about the recent exchange of words between his former bandmates Zayn Malik and Liam Payne. When the topic was raised to him, Louis immediately replied with:
“So the fishing’s begun already. I see what you’re doing.”
He then swiftly diverted the conversation to focus on One Direction, saying:
“I’m immensely proud, as I know Liam is… of those days, obviously. It was an incredible thing to do, especially to do as such a young age. Amazing memories.”
The show’s hosts once again attempted to bring their conversation back around, asking Louis if he found it “annoying to have to answer retroactive questions.”
To this, Louis made it clear that he was “more than happy to talk about” One Direction but that he saw through what was being attempted at the moment:
“It’s just when you mentioned the beef before, it sounded like you were ready to stir some s*** up, that’s all I’m saying.”
